So I appreciate your concern, friend, I really do. The fact that omnicrafting will make a player millions of gil daily, yet most avoid crafting like the plague, confirms it is a system that needs further improvement.

You’re basically tying your arm behind your back and complaining that the game is too hard.Īlso, the fact that you keep trying to claim that I was “carried” even though I also contributed free resources and parts to other people, tells me that you’re just salty about this for some reason. However, that’s really a fabricated issue that’s caused by your solo play-style and not one that’s inherent to the game itself. If you choose to eschew all of those resources which are incredibly easy to find, then yes, it would be more convenient to level all of the crafters. There are even “new player friendly” FCs and fellowships that exist now. Finding a free company where people are willing to help each other out is extremely easy. I provided an avenue that literally anyone can find in order to avoid having to omnicraft/pay money. No I don’t think that statement still stands whatsoever. I can amend it to include “being given free mats”, if that will make you feel better, but not everyone has your circumstances. The point that you have to level all the profs unless you want to spend a lot of gil on mats you can’t make yourself still stands. But generally if someone needs something, there’s a good chance we have most of what is needed on standby. ATM we’re running into issues with not sure what to do with what the submarines bring back. The new bank tabs def helped, but we generally only put HQ mats in there for people to use to save space. Like I usually don’t save gems or stuff used on the one off ring or something. I don’t pay for more space so usually stuff like rosewood or cobalt ingots or varnish, aka stuff used more often, gets priority over more obscure mats. Retainers mostly hold more used mats I tend to use more often. Sadly can’t really shove walls/floors/exteriors into housing storage…Īlso everytime we get new holiday outdoor items, my storage cries lol. Usually shove stuff I don’t immediately need in my chocobo bag. Most of the mats in there is extra stuff that I’ve made the past couple days. Also I take care of the FC gardens so that takes space. I’ve leveled every single job so usually gotta move around gear when I get something new too. ATM redoing the FC house so my inventory is a hot mess atm, haven’t been able to sort it so its like this: I do a lot on housing stuff so I have to stock up on certain mats, and that all adds up. Yeah my inventory def isn’t like that lol. Some of the recent ones sell for millions, so the idea of vendoring them for silver seems counterproductive. And all fish are viable potential sales now, thanks to the housing trophy frames and sometimes aquariums–some of them sell for a lot of gil. And after you sit around for days waiting for a spawn and beat the layers of RNG to catch a rarest of rare fish–some people like to just not blow that trophy up for Fine Sand and a crystal or two. You also don’t seem to do much by way of fishing achievements, because quite a few baits/lures can’t be bought at a vendor for just gil, and take enough effort to make or farm that you wouldn’t want to toss them. You have all those Faded Copies for orchestrion, where are all the mats to turn them into actual usable music rolls? Where are the ingots, the lumbers, the multiple types of whetstones needed for those raw gems, all the ingredients that went into all that food you’re carrying? You have one slot left for mainhand, and two more jobs are coming with Endwalker.Įven if you’re only going for the DoH/L achievements, you use a lot more mats than those random bits and bobs you’re displaying in your main inventory. The chocobo saddlebag is unlocked via MSQ, and you have six slots left. There are far more armor sets ingame than there is Dresser space, because how many jobs are we up to now? And you can use ALL of those sets for glamour. And recently, some things that should be able to be stored there–can’t be. I like how you left out that only certain select items can be stored in the “infinite” space of the armoire, lmao. If you’re going to talk about the faults of FFXIV you could at least not make things up at best or lie at worst. I’m sorry what? You have far more that 1/4 of the wow inventory space.
